As part of the International Youth Day celebrations, an event aimed at encouraging young people to improve their professional skills was held in Ashgabat. The winners of the creative poster contest "Youth and the World" and participants of the FutureSkills4All educational initiative were awarded during the event. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad."
In May this year, UNDP Turkmenistan joined the FutureSkills4All program, which provides 660 young people with free training on the Coursera platform. Currently, more than 500 girls and boys in the country are taking online training, and 400 have already received certificates of successful completion.
The new knowledge gained from the training enhances the employability of young people.
UNDP also announced the launch of a mentorship program in Turkmenistan under the project "Promoting Sustainable Communities".
