The Cultural Center of Iran in the capital of Turkmenistan hosted an event dedicated to Mother's Day and Women's Day. Both holidays are celebrated in the Islamic Republic of Iran on the twentieth day of the month of Jumad al-Ahir. This was reported by the Internet edition AsmanNews.
Pupils and teachers of the Iranian Cultural Center in Ashgabat, their mothers, residents and guests of the Turkmen capital who are interested in Iranian culture and representatives of the media took part in the celebration of the important holiday for every Iranian.
Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani and Head of the Iranian Cultural Center in Turkmenistan Navid Rasouli delivered congratulatory speeches at the event, noting the important role of women in the development of modern society in Iran and Turkmenistan.
