Chairman of the Agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk" H. Khudaygulyev spoke at the investment forum in Paris on attracting investments in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.
Х. Khudaygulyev noted the importance of digital development of the country, which is part of the state policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. One of the major projects of the Digital Economy Development Program for 2019-2025 was the construction of a smart city Arkadag.
Together with the Islamic Development Bank, a $273 million project was implemented to provide the country's population with high-speed Internet. Khudaygulyev also emphasized that Turkmenistan pays special attention to transit opportunities of the country.
It was noted that in order to increase competitiveness in the world market, Turkmen manufacturers are actively establishing international cooperation in the field of high technologies.
