On April 30, seven major deals totaling $3.2 million were made at the trades on the GTSB of Turkmenistan. The main export items were liquefied natural gas and yarn for light industry.
Companies from Afghanistan bought 5,000 tons of Turkmen LNG, bringing Turkmenistan more than $2.9 million. The UAE became the largest buyer of yarn, with 88,000 kilograms of yarn sent to the country by Turkmen producers.
Among the major areas of domestic market sales are high-density polyethylene and carpets made by Turkmen craftsmen.
Compared to last Monday's data, the price of liquefied natural gas increased by $90 to just under $600 per ton.
