A ceremony of presenting credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was held on August 30. This is reported on the website of Türkmenistan habarlar portaly.

The President of Uzbekistan congratulated the Turkmen diplomat on his appointment to the responsible post and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission. During the ceremony, it was noted that Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan fruitfully cooperate in politics, inter-parliamentary ties, trade and economy, transportation, energy, water and agriculture, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The sides expressed confidence in further strengthening partnership, constructive political dialog and mutual support within the UN framework.
