Art and culture workers of Turkmenistan presented a concert in Armenia

A concert of Turkmen art and culture figures dedicated to the three hundredth anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi was held in Yerevan. This is reported by Turkmenportal online edition.

The event was held at the A. Babajanyan Concert Hall on March 12 this year. Among the audience were representatives of scientific intellectuals, employees of the accredited diplomatic missions in Yerevan, representatives of international organizations. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia M. Ayazov, as well as A. Martirosyan - Deputy Minister of Science, Culture, Education and Sports of Armenia made opening remarks.

During the concert, the string quartet "Camerata Ashgabat" performed works of recognized classics, as well as national Turkmen melodies and works by Nury Khalmammedov, Veli Mukhatov and many other famous composers.
