Days of Russian Culture to be held in Turkmenistan

On March 14, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Russia Esen Aidogdyev met with Russian Deputy Culture Minister Andrei Malyshev on the organization of the Days of Culture of Russia in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Centralasia.news".

The festival will include performances by music and dance groups, as well as meetings with filmmakers, composers, painters, sculptors, librarians, and museologists of Turkmenistan and Russia.

During the meeting, the strategic nature of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere between Turkmenistan and Russia was emphasized. In addition, the sides discussed issues related to the visit of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova to participate in the international conference of culture ministers dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet, classic and thinker of the East Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
Also on October 11, Ashgabat will host an international forum of heads of state and government of CIS countries.
