The youth national rhythmic gymnastics team of Turkmenistan in preparation for the second draw of the Cup of the Federation of Gymnastics of Turkmenistan.

To ensure the proper performance of the youth team in competitions, the Federation of Gymnastics of Turkmenistan organized training sessions at the Avaza sports complex.

About 70 athletes from the national teams of Mary, Balkan velayats and Ashgabat will participate in the junior tournament on rhythmic gymnastics. The tournament is held for gymnasts born in 2008-2012.
Aivazova Fiza Israfilievna, head coach of the national rhythmic gymnastics team of Turkmenistan, is preparing athletes for the tournament. It should be noted that during the four years of work as a senior coach of the national team F. Ayvazova managed to train and educate one master of sports and four candidates for the master of sports, as well as to lead the national team to the first for our athletes, and the 17th Asian Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which was held in 2019 in Pattaya (Thailand).

Training camp will end with competitions, where participants of national teams will compete for the Federation Cup "Avaza 2020". Leaders in age categories will be awarded medals, and the results of the awards will determine the team, which will receive the Cup. Competitions will be held from February 20 to 24 at the sports complex "Avaza".

The tournament will allow the selection of gymnasts to participate in larger national and international tournaments for this age category.

Another spectacular tournament in rhythmic gymnastics among adult athletes, the Championship of Turkmenistan, is expected in April of this year. The participants of this tournament will show their skills for further participation in the Championship of Turkmenistan.

Training camps are an integral part of preparation of each athlete's performance plan. This year, the tournament brought together a large number of participants, which clearly demonstrates the rapid development of rhythmic gymnastics in Turkmenistan and the impulse of the Turkmen youth to sporting prospects in the future.
