On the occasion of the International Children's Day, 13 children from low-income families and orphans underwent medical operations in Turkmenistan. The complicated operations were financed by the Fund of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
In particular, two-year-old Suleiman, diagnosed with congenital bilateral flat feet, underwent surgery to enable him to walk normally. A four-year-old boy suffering from a heart defect and circulatory insufficiency underwent heart surgery at the cardiology center.
All 13 surgeries were successful, the children are under the care of experienced doctors and are on the mend.
New little patients are being prepped for heart and musculoskeletal surgeries.
