The head of Turkmenistan signed decrees on dismissal and call-up for service

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on dismissal of conscripted servicemen to the reserve, as well as on the next call-up to military service. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.

The document prescribes to retire in April-June 2024 from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan military personnel serving in the military conscription who have served the terms established in the Law of Turkmenistan "On Military Duty and Military Service".

The document also prescribes to call up for military service in April-June 2024 citizens of Turkmenistan who are not entitled to exemption from military service or the right to deferment from military service, male citizens who by the day of draft have turned 18 years old, who have lost the right to deferment from military service of citizens up to 27 years old.

The Presidential Order ordered the military personnel to be discharged in a solemn ceremony and to reward excellent service.
