Ashgabat, July 10 - Arzuw.news. Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with his Moldovan counterpart Mihai Popshoi to discuss topical areas of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Preparations for the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3) took center stage in the talks. The sides exchanged views on the coordination of efforts within the framework of this important international event.
The diplomats also discussed the prospects of expanding the Turkmen-Moldovan cooperation in various spheres. The conversation was held in a constructive spirit and confirmed mutual interest in strengthening partnership relations between the two countries.
