The total volume of transactions concluded at the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan last week amounted to 24 million 818 million U.S. dollars. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
Representatives of business circles from Hong Kong, Republic of Turkey and Afghanistan purchased lighting kerosene and liquefied gas produced at the technological plants of Türkmennebit Group of Companies for foreign currency. Businessmen from UAE, Republic of Turkey, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Switzerland and Ukraine purchased urea and desulphurized diesel fraction produced by Türkmenhimiýa Group of Companies.
Such goods as cotton yarn, dried licorice root extract, sulphur yarn, bed linen sets and denim products were also sold for foreign currency. Transactions for the products were concluded with entrepreneurs from the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia and Azerbaijan.
