National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has sent a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the country's Independence Day. This is reported by TDH.
In his message, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan noted that Uzbekistan has made great strides in its development in recent years, including in carrying out major socio-economic reforms and improving the welfare of the people. He emphasized that relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan continue to expand in political, economic, cultural and other areas.
Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Uzbekistan and is ready to bring it to a new qualitative level, the National Leader emphasized. He wished President Mirziyoyev good health, happiness and success, and the people of Uzbekistan peace, progress and further prosperity.
