The meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Secretary General of the Qatar Horse Breeding Federation Sheikh Ahmad bin Nuh Al Thani was held, during which the Secretary General presented the Certificate of Honor to the Asian Equestrian Federation. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The certificate was awarded for the opening of the first international academy of horse breeding and equestrian sport in the region - International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev in the city of Arkadag.
During the meeting, Chairman Khalk Maslakhaty expressed the state's commitment to the development of fruitful relations between Turkmenistan and Qatar. It was noted that both countries have great potential for breeding horses and exchange of experience in the field of equestrian sports, including through the activation of ties with the Qatar Horse Breeding Federation.
