The Head of Turkmenistan held a meeting on the agrarian sector of the economy

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev, who is in charge of agro-industrial complex, and khakims of velayats on topical issues in the agricultural sector of the country. This is reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

Reports on the progress of seasonal work were heard from the provincial governorates' khakims, which included continuation of care of wheat crops, irrigation and feeding with mineral fertilizers. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to keep wheat care under control, as well as to prepare fields for sowing cotton.

It was emphasized that special attention is paid to heating systems in the residential sector and provision of energy resources to the population. T. Atakhallyev reported to the President on the preparation of land for the upcoming sowing of cotton, inspection and current repair of agricultural machinery.
