Turkmen Foreign Minister meets with the Prime Minister of Pakistan

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad on October 15. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for expanding cooperation in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, political and diplomatic spheres. Special attention was paid to the implementation of international projects in the economic sphere with the participation of Turkmenistan and Pakistan.

The topic of preparation of final documents on practical implementation of the TAPI and TAP projects was touched upon. The interlocutors noted the effectiveness of Turkmenistan's cooperation with Pakistani logistics companies, primarily with the National Logistics Corporation. This contributes to increasing the volume of transportation along the China-Pakistan-Afghanistan-Turkmenistan route.
