Turkmenistan congratulated veterans-heroes of the Great Patriotic War in Akhal velayat

Representatives of khakimliks and public organizations and the younger generation took part in honoring the frontline soldiers in the Akhal region. Unfortunately, the ranks of war heroes are becoming rarer every year - today there are 2 WWII participants and a widow of a front-line soldier in the velayat.

According to the Decree of the Head of Turkmenistan, the participants of the event presented gifts to 96-year-old A. Tutlykov (Gozgan village, Kaakhka district), 100-year-old U. Muhammedov (Yalovach village, Serakhsk district) and 102-year-old M. Gylyzhova (Kaakhka town).

Victory Day celebrations in Turkmenistan were held in Ashkhabad and in all regions - Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, Maryisky velayats.
