Turkmenistan and Kuwait outline ways to expand cooperation

In the framework of his visit to the United States, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait. The sides expressed confidence that the talks would serve to further develop partnership relations. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. 

During the conversation, the Crown Prince praised Turkmenistan's organization of the recent UN conference in Avaza. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, thanking for it, emphasized the importance of strengthening partnership with Kuwait and conveyed reciprocal greetings.

Promising areas for cooperation were identified, including the fuel and energy complex, transportation, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The Turkmen leader also invited the Kuwaiti side to participate in the International Forum of Peace and Confidence in Ashgabat in December 2025.

At the end of the meeting the sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in the dynamic development of interstate relations.
