An exhibition dedicated to Turkmen composer N. Khalmamedov opened in Ashgabat

The State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan has opened an exhibition of Turkmen artists and sculptors dedicated to the country's outstanding composer Nury Halmamedov. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

One of the central exhibits of the exhibition is a sculpture of the Turkmen composer made by Saragt Babayev. The sculpture was given to the museum by the Academy of Arts specially for the exhibition.

The exposition also presents portraits of composers whose works Nury Khalmamedov used to study music. Many paintings are dedicated to the creative cooperation between composer Nury Khalmamedov and poet Kurbannazar Ezizov. Some of the paintings depict another friend of the composer - singer Atageldy Garyagdiyev.

The exhibition also presents busts of the outstanding composer made of bronze, wood and plaster.
