A master class in honor of International Yoga Day was held in Ashgabat

As part of the celebration of the International Yoga Day, a mass master class organized by the Indian diplomatic mission was held at the Olympic Stadium in Ashgabat. This is reported by the online edition "TurkmenPortal.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps and staff of the Indian Embassy headed by the Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan, as well as the Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan M. Mammedov. More than one hundred yoga enthusiasts participated in the master class.

Prior to the event, Ambassador of India Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat addressed the participants. She noted that it is useful to integrate yoga practice into daily life to promote health and mental harmony.

Mass yoga master classes were also held in the indoor water park of Avaza National Tourist Zone, in Turkmenabat and Mary cities.
