Turkmen movie "Makhtumkuli Fraghi" was shown in Astrakhan

A Turkmen film "Makhtumkuli Fraghi" was shown in Astrakhan cinema "Illuzion" on August 21 to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan.

The event was attended by the Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation in Astrakhan, a delegation from Turkmenistan, Turkmen students studying at local universities, as well as representatives of the Turkmen Diaspora of the region.

A delegation from Turkmenistan arrived in Astrakhan to participate in the "Caspian Media Forum - 2025". Ataev Amangeldi, Chief Specialist of the International Relations Department of the State Committee on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography of Turkmenistan, made a welcoming speech at the screening.

In his speech, Ataev Amangeldi noted the significance of the work of the great poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi for the cultural heritage of Turkmenistan. He also emphasized the importance of developing humanitarian ties between the countries of the Caspian region.
