Events within the framework of the Days of Turkmenistan Culture kicked off in Korea

On Wednesday, March 29, the opening ceremony of the Turkmenistan Culture Days was held in Seoul. As part of this cultural event, a conference dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Turkmen philosopher and poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi was organized. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The opening ceremony was attended by Turkmen and Korean delegations, representatives of state structures and creative intellectuals, heads of diplomatic missions, as well as Turkmen students.

The conference was addressed by Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan G. Muradaliev, founder of the Korea-CA Friendship Association Lee Ok-ryun, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Korea B. Durdyev, Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Korea-CA Cooperation Forum Ri Jongkuk, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Chung Wutaek, Head of the Korean side of the Turkmenistan-Korea Interparliamentary Friendship Group Lee Dalgon.

The topics of the conference touched upon the works of the great thinker of the East, literature, philosophy, culture and art, as well as the development of cooperation between the states in the cultural and humanitarian direction. The guests of the event could also visit the exhibition of works of art and museum treasures of Turkmenistan.

The first day of the festival ended with a concert of Korean and Turkmen artists.
