President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced June 14 as the start day of grain harvesting for agrarians of Dashoguz and Balkan provinces. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: the Golden Age."
According to the general plan for the country, Turkmen farmers should harvest 1 million 400 thousand tons of grain from 690,000 hectares of land. Farmers of Dashoguz velayat committed to produce 265 thousand tons of grain, Balkan velayat - 80 thousand tons.
The agricultural campaign utilizes combine harvesters and modern highly productive agricultural equipment. Repair brigades provide round-the-clock maintenance of technical means. Truck transportation ensures prompt delivery of wheat to receiving points and elevators.
In honor of receiving the first tons of wheat harvest in Dashoguz and Balkan velayats in Turkmenistan, exhibitions of the country's agro-industrial complex products and samples of modern agricultural machinery were held.
