Over the period of January-July of the current year, Turkmenistan has seen a stable GDP growth, which amounted to 6.3%. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
Such indicators were achieved due to the adoption of comprehensive measures to develop the country's economy. During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on August 30, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimiradov presented a report on macroeconomic indicators achieved in the first seven months of the current year.
According to the report, GDP growth by ministry was 3.6% in the industrial sector, 9.3% in the construction sector, 7.1% in the transportation sector, 7.8% each in trade and agriculture, and 7% in services.
Total production increased by 11.5% over the same period last year.
The revenue part of the State Budget was implemented by 102.9% and the expenditure part by 97.8%.
