The 102nd anniversary of the Turkish Victory was celebrated at the residence of the Turkish Ambassador in Ashgabat

A solemn event was held at the residence of the Turkish Ambassador in Ashgabat on August 30 in honor of the 102nd anniversary of the Victory Day in the Turkish War of Independence. This is reported by the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".

The event was attended by high-ranking officials of Turkmenistan and Turkey.
Deputy Defense Minister of Turkmenistan Dovran Durdyev made a congratulatory speech.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok also made a speech during the solemn meeting. He noted the importance of this holiday, as it was the Victory Day in 1923 that paved the way for the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. Then the diplomat read out the congratulatory address of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The ambassador expressed gratitude to Military Attaché Mehmet Yıldız for his personal contribution to the activities of the diplomatic mission and strengthening defense ties between the countries.
