A personal exhibition of paintings about Turkmenistan by Polish artist Joanna Galecka was opened at the Museum of Fine Arts in Ashgabat. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held on August 3. Inspired by the landscapes and culture of Turkmenistan, the artist paints picturesque and graphic paintings while traveling. According to Joanna Galecki, the main source of inspiration for her are the eastern bazaars where she meets many interesting and open-minded people.
The paintings on display at the Ashgabat exhibition come from a tour of Halacha.
Many works are made with pastels on colored paper, they attract visitors with their brightness and originality.
