On November 29, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myahridjemal Mammadova at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers informed about the forthcoming regional meeting of experts devoted to the inclusion of the Caspian branch of the Great Silk Road in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The event will be held on December 6 and 7 this year. The participants of the meeting will be specialists from international organizations and representatives of scientific research centers of a number of foreign countries. The meeting will be devoted to the introduction of digital technologies in the management of cultural heritage sites and the creation of the Atlas of maps with historical sites of the Caspian-Volga Silk Road corridor.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to pay attention to monitoring the preparation of the meeting, stressing the importance of cooperation with UNESCO and other international organizations.
