Development of transit corridors between Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan discussed in Ashgabat

A meeting between the Executive Secretary of the International Center for Transport Diplomacy Igor Runov and the Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was held in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet resource "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

The meeting took place within the framework of Igor Runov's working visit to Turkmenistan to participate in the international conference on sustainable transport in Ashgabat. The central topic of the talks was the development of transit corridors running through the Central Asian states.

During the meeting the conclusion of the Agreement on mutual recognition of Authorized Economic Operators with the participation of three countries - Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan was discussed. It was noted that this initiative will contribute to the development of transport and logistics and economic international cooperation in the region.
