On September 4, the Turkmen capital hosted a concert of virtuoso musician from Libya Hisham Errish organized by the country's Embassy in Ashgabat. The event was a bright spot in the cultural life of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
During the performance, the famous virtuoso performed ancient Libyan melodies, classical and modern compositions on the oud. Errish's work is well known to music lovers from Europe and the Middle East. The musician manages to masterfully combine the ancient motifs of his native country with European and Arabic traditional elements, which allows him to delight audiences with a unique melodic sound.
A special moment of the concentration was the performance together with musicians from Turkmenistan of music by composer Nura Halmamedov in an original arrangement by a Libyan musician.
