During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan held on November 8, Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications Mammetkhan Chakyev spoke about the results of activity in the supervised area for the current year. He said that the growth rate in the volume of works and services in the field of transport amounted to 119, 1% . This is reported by the Internet portal "Westiabad."
М. Chakyev reported to the President that the growth rate of freight transportation reached 103, 3%, passenger transportation - 104, 3%. It was noted that construction of new transportation facilities in different parts of the country is currently underway.
Summarizing M. Chakyev's report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov named a number of priority tasks to improve the transport complex, including improving the quality of services, modernizing the material and technical base, and providing more digital services.
