The head of state emphasized that Turkmenistan is actively developing transport infrastructure that meets international standards. New roads, ports, railroad bridges and airports are being built in the country.
At the UN General Assembly meeting on Turkmenistan's proposal, November 26 was proclaimed World Day of Sustainable Transport, which recognized the importance of the country's initiatives.
At the end of his congratulatory speech, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the conference participants success, prosperity and health.
