President Serdar Berdimuhamedov November 25 held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev, who is in charge of agro-industrial complex, and provincial khakims to review the progress of seasonal field work in the regions and fulfillment of tasks envisaged by the National Rural Program, TDH reported.

At the same time, the repair and maintenance of machinery and units that will be involved in agricultural work in the coming year has begun.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of conducting seasonal agricultural campaigns and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under control the fulfillment of the set tasks.
Then, addressing the participants of the meeting, the head of state ordered to take necessary measures to harvest cotton to the last boll, strictly control the work on wheat care, in particular, vegetative watering and feeding with mineral fertilizers according to agro-technical terms, as well as timely treatment of fields against weeds in order to get a rich harvest.
According to the source, the President of the country paid special attention to the issues of laying the foundation of next year's harvest, and instructed to carry out timely agro-technical works on cotton sowing areas.
In addition, the head of state ordered to carry out technical maintenance of machinery and units to be used in seasonal agricultural works next year, to make timely payments to cotton and wheat producers in velayats, as well as enterprises serving them for the work done on cotton harvest in the current year and wheat harvest next year, to collect sugar beet grown in Mary velayat without losses, to strictly control the implementation of the National Rural Program in the regions.
