The Embassy of the Republic of Korea organized a cultural program in Turkmenistan as part of the Days of Korean Culture. The program was held from November 22 to 23 this year. This is reported by the Internet resource "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."
One of the most striking and memorable events of the cultural program from the Korean Embassy was a concert held at the Makhtumkuli Music and Drama Theater of Turkmenistan. Under the direction of Rasul Klychev, the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan performed with the participation of performers from Korea. Famous opera singers Kwon Hwapyeong and Kwon Miji performed Korean lyrical works as well as famous world hits.
At the end of the concert, the artists were thanked with a standing ovation. The concert was an important event in the cultural life of Turkmenistan, which emphasized the demand for intercultural dialogue.
