During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on October 5, Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications of Turkmenistan M. Chakyev reported on the results of the work of the supervised sphere in January-September this year. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
М. Chakyev noted in his report that during this period the Agency performed works and rendered services for 123.3%. The growth rate of freight transportation by road, rail, air, sea and river transport amounted to 105.9 %, passenger transportation - 105.2 %.
The growth rate of service provision amounted to 108.4 % for Türkmendemirýollary, 118.4 % for Türkmenawtoulaglary, 226.2 % for Türkmenhowaýollary, 107.1 % for Türkmendeňizderýaýollary and 111.6 % for Türkmenaragatnaşyk.
The report also included information on the construction of facilities for the country's transportation and communications complex.
