The Mary City Pediatric Hospital received a Sawina-300 ventilator manufactured by Drager. Funding was provided by the Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov Charitable Foundation to help children in need of care.
The device, which allows quality lung ventilation and monitoring of all vital signs of the patient, was handed over to the hospital specialists during the working visit of Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, the head of the Khalk Maslakhaty chamber, to the region, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported today.
The ventilator is highly efficient and practical, delivering a gas mixture to the respiratory organs through high pressure, saturating the blood with oxygen and removing carbon dioxide from the body, as well as stabilizing the respiratory rhythm. In addition, it is capable of storing data on all therapeutic procedures for six months.
It is also noted that this equipment has no analogues in the region.
