The Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan held a briefing on the results of the investment forum

On September 16, a briefing on the results of the International Investment Forum "TIF-2024" held in Ashgabat from September 10 to 11 was held in the building of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

Speaking at the briefing, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov noted the high efficiency of the event. The Minister emphasized the importance of measures taken in the country aimed at increasing investment opportunities for cooperation.

The briefing focused on the opening and start of construction of a number of energy and transportation facilities on the Turkmen-Afghan border with the participation of the top leadership of the two countries. Heads and representatives of diplomatic missions of India, China, Afghanistan, international organizations and financial institutions spoke at the event. The speakers emphasized the importance of the measures taken in the context of socio-economic development of the country and achievement of the SDGs.
