On Saturday, July 27, 2024, Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin held a telephone conversation. This is reported on the official website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current situation and prospects for further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. Particular attention was paid to the organization of high-level visits in bilateral format and interaction within the framework of authoritative international structures.
The sides expressed mutual interest in expanding and strengthening cooperation in trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and political-diplomatic spheres between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
