The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan met with the Head of the EBRD Representative Office

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Eric Livni - head of the EBRD Representative Office on November 6, 2024. This is reported on the official website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, which took place in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Proposals for the development of a systematic approach to partnership were considered, in particular, the preparation of a five-year strategy for Turkmenistan.

The parties touched upon topical issues of development of projects planned for implementation with participation of state structures and private organizations. The projects concern the development of "green" cities, water resources and other areas of cooperation.
