In honor of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Turkmenistan, the Turkmen Symphony Orchestra gave a full house concert at the Ashgabat Theater of Musical Drama.
The concert program includes musical masterpieces by prominent German composers.
Turkmen virtuosos brilliantly performed concertos for violin, piano, and cello, which brought real pleasure to connoisseurs of classical music.
The symphony ensemble performed Beethoven's "Triple Concerto" for the first time on Turkmen soil.
As part of the theatrical meeting the best works of Wagner, Weber, and Bartholdi were heard. The audience was given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the measured sounds of the music of elaborate classical works, to feel the atmosphere of the time in which the remarkable German composers created.
The concert concluded with a special treat for fans of rhythmic classical music. The symphonic ensemble performed Brahms' "Hungarian Dances. The dancing melody transported the audience into a whirlwind of incendiary dancing.
The applause did not subside for a long time, calling for an encore of the immortal music.
