The National Day of Turkmenistan will be held on October 9 as part of the international horticultural exhibition "Expo-2023 Doha". This is reported by turkmenportal.com.
This decision was taken after a meeting between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) Dimitri Kerkentzes. During the meeting, the parties discussed the main directions of further development of cooperation in the sphere of exhibition and fair activities.
The head of Turkmenistan noted that in accordance with the adopted "Concept of International Exhibition Activities of Turkmenistan for 2024-2025", the country plans to further expand cooperation with the International Bureau of Exhibitions. Turkmenistan also expressed interest in participating in the world exhibition "EXPO-2025" to be held in Osaka, Japan.
