Garlic planting is coming to an end in the north of Turkmenistan

The winter garlic planting campaign on the area of about 100 hectares has been successfully completed in Shavat district of Dashoguz province of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

A large volume of winter garlic was also planted in Boldumsaz and Akdepi etraps, as well as in S. Turkmenbashi etrap and in Gokchage Dayhan Association. Turkmenbashi etrap and in Daykhan association "Gokchage". A total of 780 hectares of winter garlic were sown in the fields of Dashoguz province.

With the planned productivity of 80 centners of production per hectare, farmers intend to harvest at least 6 thousand tons of garlic. Varieties suitable for local weather and climatic peculiarities were used for sowing.

Farmers of Dashoguz velayat of the country in accordance with the tasks facing the agro-industrial complex are trying to actively introduce quality vegetable varieties and use scientific methods of their cultivation.
