Azerbaijan's oil company SOCAR participates in Turkmenistan's oil and gas forum

Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR is taking an active part in the Turkmenistan Oil and Gas Forum, which started on Wednesday. The company is also presenting a stand informing about Azerbaijan's achievements and innovations in the oil and gas industry at the parallel exhibition. Informal meetings are also held here, and business contacts with potential partners are established.

SOCAR President R. Najaf spoke at the plenary session of the conference, which touched upon the further development of regional and global energy systems in the current economic and political situation on the world stage.

SOCAR Vice President E. Nasirov is also present at the forum. He emphasized the importance of signing a memorandum between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on the joint development of the Dostluk field, and also drew attention to the territorial proximity of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, which should contribute to the strengthening of oil and gas partnership.
