Ombudsman of Turkmenistan participated in a high-level event in Geneva

Turkmenistan's Ombudsman Y. On December 11-12, Gurbannazarova took part in a high-level event at the House of Nations in Geneva dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This was reported by the Turkmenistan: Golden Age online publication.

The Ombudsman of Turkmenistan, Ya. Gurbannazarova spoke at the conference "Human Rights 75", a side event of the non-governmental organization BDG and the non-profit organization INHR, as well as the national human rights institutions of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The Ombudsman of Turkmenistan briefed the conference participants on the country's policy aimed at promoting human rights and on Turkmenistan's commitments to further promote the realization of the standards of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
