Results of work of agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan for 9 months of the current year were announced

Deputy Prime Minister T. Atakhallyev reported at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on October 4 on the growth rate of production of the country's agro-industrial complex for 9 months of 2024, which amounted to 126.3% compared to the same period last year. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad."

The indicators of plan fulfillment amounted to: 101.9% for the Ministry of Agriculture, 120.1% for the Ministry of Environmental Protection, 142.4% for the State Water Committee, 100% for the State Concern "Türkmenpagta", 226.4% for the State Association Türkmengengallaönümleri. Investments were utilized by 340.6%.

The report also contained information on sowing wheat, harvesting cotton and rice, taking measures to increase the number of livestock, its productivity, and fodder procurement. Measures to clean irrigation canals and drainage systems were considered. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the Deputy Prime Minister a number of specific instructions.
