International Swimming Federation (FINA) conducted a series of online swims at different distances for the system of their preparatory complexes in Kazan (Russia), Florida (USA), and Phuket (Thailand). After the swims, the swimmers exchanged results, and two athletes of the Kazan branch of FINA achieved the best results on their distances.
Kazan Palace of Water Sports became the site of the online two-hundred-meter medley for the Musa Jalaev (Turkmenistan) и Davora Petrovski (North Macedonia)as well as the 400-meter medley - for Arina Baikova (Latvia).
R.Tepavchevich, the head of the Kazan office of the FINA, noted that this format of sporting events is very relevant, which is not unimportant at the time of the global pandemic. Online swims give you the opportunity to share experiences, train productively, and even compete in the situation at hand.
