Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan met with the President of the UAE

On Saturday, February 11, the official visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the United Arab Emirates began. The Arkadag hero arrived at Abu Dhabi International Airport, where he was met by the delegation of the host country. In the afternoon, the Chairman met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This was reported by the state news agency Neutral Turkmenistan.

During the meeting the priority areas of cooperation were identified. Fuel energy, transportation communications, agriculture, IT-technologies, industrial cooperation, shipbuilding were named as the most promising vectors. The issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation were not neglected.

Emphasis was also placed on the importance of interaction with UAE financial structures for the successful implementation of a number of joint projects.
