Representatives of Turkmen diasporas from foreign countries and delegates from the provinces of Turkmenistan took part in the XXV Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, which was held on September 14 at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. This was reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today.
The conference was preceded by a welcoming address by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The event was a clear evidence of support for Turkmenistanis living in other countries and their active participation in the life of Turkmenistan. The agenda included a report on the work done, as well as priority areas for further activities of GATM.
An exhibition of traditional arts and crafts was organized as part of the conference.
