President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov made a snowman. The Turkmen leader was fascinated by a traditional winter pastime during his Sunday tour to the outskirts of Ashgabat. The head of state was accompanied by his grandson Kerim, the state news agency TDH reported.
«Пользуясь столь редким случаем, когда снега достаточно, чтобы слепить снеговика, глава государства вместе с внуком скатали шары и, соединив их, соорудили традиционную для зимней забавы фигуру» – отмечается в официальной хронике.
To capture this "miraculous day" in history, Kerim, grandson of the Turkmen leader, photographed his grandfather as he was putting the finishing touches on his image as a snowman.
During the joint walk, the head of state told his grandson about the peculiarities of Turkmen nature, thus consolidating the principle of intergenerational continuity - between fathers and grandfathers, grandfathers and grandchildren.
Recall that in the south of Ashgabat, in the foothills, the forest belt of coniferous and deciduous trees continues to expand.
