The President of Turkmenistan gave instructions on ensuring food abundance

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on December 6, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Nokerguly Atagulyev provided the President of Turkmenistan with a report on the work of the supervised departments in the first 11 months of the current year. This is reported by the online edition CentralAsia.news.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister's report, the rate of increase in trade turnover for the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Affairs amounted to 104.5%, the rate of increase in the volume of goods produced amounted to 104.9% compared to the same period of 2023. The Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the fulfillment of the production plan of the State Association "Turkmenhaly" at 100.1%.

Having heard N. Ataguliyev's report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to increase the production of consumer goods demanded in the country and ensure food abundance in the country's stores and markets.
