President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed his compatriots with congratulations on the occasion of the Holiday of the Turkmen Alabai. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Addressing the dog breeders, the head of state wished new successes in breeding and upbringing of Turkmen Alabays, in popularization of the breed and development of dog breeding.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmen dog breeders are actively working to preserve the purity of the Turkmen Alabai breed, increase their number and popularize the breed in the world.

The country pays special attention to the improvement of dog breeding, in this connection the International Association "Türkmen alabaý itleri" for international cooperation in this sphere was established. All necessary conditions for international competitions have been created on the basis of the Association.
